The next event of the day was the 100 Meter Final in the Sub-Junior Boys category. In first place, with a run time of 11.50 seconds was Harsh Singh Mejor Dhyanchand. Guru Gobind Singh’s Nitin Pal nabbed the silver with a run time of 11.58 seconds. The bronze medal went to Government Boys Senior Secondary’s Narender Kumar. His run time was 11.62 seconds.

 

The 23rd event of the day, the 100 Meter Final, was in the College Boys category. The first place medal went to Karthikeyan M from Dr. NGP Arts and Science College with a run time of 10.81 seconds. In second place was Vibinraj C R with a run time of 10.964 seconds. Rohith A from Vaikunta Baliga College nabbed the bronze with a time of 10.967.

 

The 24th event of the day was the 100 Meter Final in the College Girls category. Supriya M from the D. K. Government Degree College nabbed the gold medal with a run time of 12.15 seconds. In second place, getting the silver was Manvir Kaur from National College. Her runtime was 12.26 seconds. The bronze medal went to Nibedita Barman. Her runtime was 12.46 seconds.

 

The Shot Put Final in the Senior Boys category was the next event of the day. Jaidev Dikka from Prince Public School got the gold with a put distance of 17.85 meters, also breaking the RFYS record of 17.23 meters in the process. The silver went to DAV Police Public’s Prince Prince. His put distance was 17.07 meters. The third place award went to Praveen Gupta. His put distance was 16.68 meters.

 

The 26th event of the day was the 100 Meter Relay Final in the Junior Boys category. The gold went to the relay team from Ramnarayanpur ACS Vidyaniketan. Their run time of 45.18 seconds shattered the previous RFYS record time of 47.44 seconds by more than two seconds. The relay team from Government Boys High School was in second place. They also had a record breaking run, coming in just a hair behind the first place team with a run time of 45.24 second. The third place relay team, from Mejor Dhyanchand Sports College also had a record breaking run, coming in at a 45.30 seconds. The shocking thing was that there was only a half second between the gold and bronze placed teams.

 

The 27th event of the day was the Triple Jump Final in the Senior Boys category. Selva Prabhu T from NLC Boys Higher Secondary School came in first with a jump distance of 14.43 meters. The silver went to P S Higher Secondary’s Manivelraj S. He had a jump distance of 14.26 meters. With a jump distance of 14.03 meters, Sakthi Kumar R was awarded the bronze medal.
