With sport running in the family, Ancy found the freedom to choose her own path and the support to pursue it. Her journey has taken her from humble beginnings to representing India on the international stage, overcoming challenges and setbacks along the way. After almost stepping away from the sport, Ancy found her way back with renewed belief. Since then, she has continued to raise the bar, producing a 6.88m jump and establishing herself among India’s top long jumpers. Now, with the Asian Games 2026 ahead, Ancy is ready to take her next leap. From there began a journey of breaking barriers, winning gold for India and inspiring a new generation to dream bigger.
